As an intern with Life Technologies, you will have the opportunity to put your education to use by taking on real-world projects and assignments.Working side-by-side with dynamic and passionate teams, you will gain experience and mentorship that will help prepare you for your future career.
Assists in the planning and execution of project(s) having an internal focus from initiation through delivery. Works with cross-functional teams and activities, ensuring completion of the project while adhering to budget, scope and schedule requirements. May build tools/products for company internal use. Plans and directs implementation efforts.
Essential Functions
Lead the planning and implementation of various supply chain optimization projects
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
Define project tasks and resource requirements
Develop full scale project plans
Assemble and coordinate project teams
Manage project budget
Manage project resource allocation
Plan and schedule project timelines
Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
Provide direction and support to project team
Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
Project evaluations and assessment of results
Requirements
Intern candidates must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree.Graduating students are eligible only if they are returning to school the following semester to pursue the next level degree.
