This Part-time position can work up to 30-35 hours per week, shifts vary. Openings in the Isanti .and. Princeton Country Stores. Assist customers in product selection, ordering and purchase. Parts Clerk Duties: Ascertains make, year and type of part needed, inspects worn, damaged, or defective part to determine replacement required, or advise customer of part needed according to description of malfunction. Reads catalog or computer for replacement part stock number and price. Fills customer orders from stock. Prepares sales slip or sales contract. Receives payment or obtain credit authorization. Advises customer on substitution or modification of part when replacement is not available. Examines returned part to determine if defective, and exchanges part of refunds money. Marks and stores parts in stockroom. Takes inventory of stock. Retail Counter Sales Clerk Duties: Stocks shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise. Sets up advertising displays or arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales. Stamps, marks, or tags price on merchandise. Answers customer's questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise. Check out customer at register. Accepts payment and makes change. Wraps or bags merchandise for customers. Completes general housekeeping duties in country store. Reports to store management with complaints, concerns or questions.
