          Job Details:
          SUMMARY:
          Under the direct supervision of the Director of Pharmacy or a Registered Pharmacist and according to the standard procedures compounds and readies for dispensing medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving orders from physicians or other qualified prescribers; types labels; processes patient charge documents; mixes IV additive solutions as required using aseptic technique with the laminar air flow hood; and performs various other related duties.

          QUALIFICATIONS:
          *High School diploma, or equivalent. Six months experience as Pharmacy Aide or equivalent duties in a Medical Center environment.
          *Current pharmacy technician certification required.
          *Two years pharmacy technician experience preferred, but not required.
          *Demonstrated ability to organize work, and work under minimal supervision.
          *Ability to be mobile.
