          Job Details:

          Job Summary:
          Under the general supervision of the Manager, Nursing Services, and according to established policies and procedures, coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, acts as a patient/family advocate, and works with other nursing and ancillary personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. Work is of a highly confidential nature. Performs other duties of the department as required.

          Education, Training and Experience:
          Graduation from an approved Nursing Education program and current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina. The employee must have the ability to understand, communicate and react effectively to the unique needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. CPR certification required and provided.
